On December 12, 2018, Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad announced government’s plan to formulate a Crisis Management Plan to counter cyber attacks and cyber terrorism.
i. For this, the Government empanelled 76 security audit organisations to ensure information security.
ii. The plan will be implemented by all Ministries and Departments of the Centre and the state governments in critical sectors.
